How Are You Fatting Up On Your IBW?

Each picture represents 5lbs of FAT . How many of these are we carrying around? Do you know your % body fat?
One of the ways to calculate your estimated ideal body weigh (IBW), i.e.. the weight you should be for your height is :

Females - for every 5 feet add 100lbs + _____ inches × 5 lbs.
Males - for every 5 feet add 106 lbs. + ____inches × 6 lbs.

10% of your ideal body weight should be added to or subtracted from your ideal body weight  depending on whether you are large or small frame.

Eg. If you are a female 5 ft 6 inches, your IBW will be 100 lbs. + 6inches ×5 lbs. = 130 lbs.. If you are large frame, then it's 10 % of 130 lbs. = 13 lbs.
Therefore your correct estimated IBW is 130 lbs. + 13 lbs. = 143 lbs.

If your current weight is 183lbs and your ideal body weight should be 143lbs, then you are 40 lbs. overweight.

If your % body FAT is 28%, then of your current weight of 180lbs, approximately 50lbs is FAT. So you are carrying around 10 of the 5lbs of FAT shown in the pic.
